{"id":10776,"date":"2023-07-18T14:22:11","date_gmt":"2023-07-18T06:22:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gad.mcu.edu.tw\/?p=10776"},"modified":"2023-07-18T14:23:39","modified_gmt":"2023-07-18T06:23:39","slug":"notice-of-summer-recess","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gad.mcu.edu.tw\/en\/2023\/07\/18\/notice-of-summer-recess\/","title":{"rendered":"Notice of Summer Recess"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Faculty and Staff members on Taipei campus:<br \/>\nThe coming summer administrative recess is scheduled from<span style=\"color: #ff0000\"> July<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">21( Friday ) through July 30(Sunday)<\/span>.<br \/>\nPlease take note of the following information to ensure campus safety<br \/>\nplus proper maintenance of university properties and facilities.<br \/>\n1. Please make sure windows and doors are locked before you leave the<br \/>\noffice. This is to prevent the office from thefts and burglar intrusion.<br \/>\n2. Please make sure to turn off all electronic equipment and faucets. This<br \/>\nis to help save energy\/ water resource and ensure equipment well-<br \/>\nmaintained.<\/p>\n<p>3. Please DO NOT leave any valuable, personal belongings on campus. It<br \/>\nwill help prevent thefts as well.<br \/>\n4. All secretaries of academic units are kindly reminded to inform their<br \/>\ngraduate students to follow the &#8220;Notice of Winter Recess.&#8221;<br \/>\n5. During the winter recess, there are still numbers of staff on-duty.<br \/>\nShould any campus accidences occur, the drillmaster or campus security<br \/>\nguard shall take lead, coordinate\/ synchronize resources, and initiate<br \/>\ntimely response. He or she should also file situation update afterwards.<br \/>\n(Staff on-duty, including &#8211; drillmasters, campus security guards,<br \/>\nadministrative staff, general laborers, guards, work-study students,<br \/>\ndormitory supervisors, etc.)<br \/>\n6. Staff on-duty shall resume to their posts on time to carry out their<br \/>\nresponsibilities and maintain campus safety. In case of any emergencies,<br \/>\nthey should respond and file report by following the Guidelines of<br \/>\nCampus Emerg ency Response Team.<br \/>\n7. Campus security guards are required to carry out rigorous screening<br \/>\nmeasure during the recess. Any requests of entering campus will be<br \/>\nrequired to present ID in exchange with visitor&#8221;s pass for legal entrance.<br \/>\nIf any accidences or emergency occur during the recess, please call the<br \/>\nsecurity guard office (Taipei Campus) at extension 2369 for assistance.<br \/>\n8.
